Purchase fishing permits online

Fishing permits can now be easily obtained online, by paying the compulsory national fisheries management fee and fees for provincial lure fishing permits.

Choose the right province

Make sure you correctly specify the province where you will be fishing when paying the provincial lure fishing fee. To check which province your local fishing district belongs to, see the list of municipalities published by the Ministry of the Interior.

The provinces are no longer official administrative entities in Finland, but provincial lure fishing fees will continue to follow the old provincial boundaries.
When you have paid your fees on your web bank, remember to click on the button “Return to seller’s website” to ensure your payment is correctly logged.

To print your permit you need the Adobe Acrobat Reader programme. If you do not already have this freely available programme on your computer, it can be downloaded here.
